All in all it's a nice place, but two major issues affect my scoring; the lack of a minibar in the room, and the very poor maintenance which can be easily noted in various parts of the room and the building's surrounding.
Having stayed here many times over the last few years the hotel is located in the heart of the West end with easy access to the bars and restaurants in the area. Parking is a little tricky but just needs a bit of patience to find a spot.
We got married at the Hilton Grosvenor on 31st of March. Was an amazing day and night from start to finish. Clara our wedding co ordinator was amazing from the day we booked it and Heather was our MC and overseen everything on the day of our wedding and was exceptional. Did not have to worry about a thing and made our day one we will never forget. We also were upgraded to the suite which was lovely. We are also regulars at Bo Vine restaurant and Be Gin bar and the food n drink are always excellent as is the service
Could do with sorting out their house keeping , when you wanting to get a bit of a sleep in and the housekeeping attempt to enter your room at the back of 8 instead of waiting till folk actually check out before coming in to clean rooms. Terrible.
Great location centrally located. There are many pubs within walking distance as well as a Texaco right opposite the hotel. The breakfast was incredible: pancakes, full English, etc... the rooms are on the small size and the windows could be better at blocking out the outdoors noise. The TV is big with loads of international channels.
