Stayed here 3yrs in a row in December. Great location. Very straight forward place to stay. Breakfast OJ was tiny my only complaint but apart from that, very enjoyable
It is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Glasgow. Like most hotels it does have a few minor faults but this doesn't distract from the overall usability. All the staff we came in contact with were extremely nice. Although the bar was very nice to look at it had a rather restricted choice of draft beers.The breakfast was fine but I can understand why some other reviews thought it poor if you ordered the full Scottish breakfast as the bacon and black pudding were a bit dry.The rest of the choices looked great when you looked around.In our room everything was ideal, quite a large room with all the usual soaps shampoos etc. the only thing missing was a luggage stand.The ultimate question, yes I would go back again. In fact it would now be my first choice hotel for Glasgow when available.
I've stayed at many of the other IHG brands in Glasgow and elsewhere, but this was my first Hotel Indigo. I was impressed! Had that magic 'big hotel but small feel' to it. Great decor and staff were friendly throughout. But the most important thing is a quiet room and a good night's sleep and this place delivered. Despite a pub across the road our fourth floor room was pin-drop quiet - wonderful! Will be back.
