I wish I could separate the star system as the staff definitely need the 5 stars. They were so good - efficient, helpful but friendlyThe room however, not so good. I've stayed in Easy Hotel Newcastle, so I understand the basic, functional but comfortable rooms, but this had no table. I went downstairs for a coffee, took it back up and stood at the window sill to drink it!! A bottle of water? Same window sill. I found a pound shop and bought a deep tray that I could put my coffee/water down and read my book. Surely just a shelf by the bed would suffice and be much safer? Other than this, I enjoy these hotel stays, just a bit of tweaking needed
You get what you pay for.. Which is really a bed and a en-suite shower room.. Perfect for that one night stay over. Not much space in the room..so travel light
The room, that I was assured was large, barely fit two people and our luggage. We had to take turns accessing our bags. The bathroom, well I've been in bigger bathrooms on sailboats. It was very cute and if you were just coming into the city to party for a night it would be great. Bed was comfortable, temperature was good. You have to pay for TV and Internet, 5 pounds each. There was a lift.
The good point is the price. The rooms are small, very small. To sum up the size of the bathroom, you can clean your teeth, go to the toilet and use the shower all at the same time. There are additional costs such as 5 for using the TV and 10 for room cleaning
Step up from a hostel. The booking said I'd have no windows and damn, what a pane that was. It's Downtown Glasgow where everything is well within walking distance. Staff were professional and friendly. Pay for everything - wifi, TV remote etc.The bathroom was the wildest part of the stay. Overall, it was a decent stay.
