I rented some cars several weekend with them because they were relatively cheap, until i had a horrible experience with them. The car appeared with two small scratches in the bumper and they tried to charge me 400 for it. That was in 2015.

We arranged to hire a van from this office. We called to ensure that we spoke to a human being, rather than booking online as we needed to set off that evening for a long journey. Our reservation was taken by the call centre agent, and we were told to make our way to the office to collect the vehicle. We parked in the multi storey next door & went straight there. Firstly, there was no-one on the reception desk. There was no call button or sign either. We waited a minute or 2, before calling out, to be told to head downstairs. We were dealt with fairly quickly, and the staff were pleasant enough, but quickly informed us that there was no van for us. I had a reservation but they couldn't fulfil it because the van we had been allocated was apparently in another city, and couldn't be brought to us as the other branch was closing. None of the staff we spoke to were responsible for any of this, as this is a problem with the reservation system. I was really upset as we'd taken the time to call to make sure there was a van, spoken on the phone for quite some time giving personal details and answering questions, and then we'd made our way there - all the while every other rental company in the city were closing. They made it incredibly difficult for us to get another hire, as the other local companies were closing whilst I was on the phone booking an imaginary van from them. Had the person in the phone told me there was no van, I'd have hung up and called a different company. They're only getting 1 star here as its impossible to give zero stars. Again, I have to reiterate that this is negative feedback on the company and how its left arm can't seem to talk to it's right, and NOT the staff
I dealt with a chap named Sam when picking the car up. He was polite, friendly and helpful. The team here seem like a really nice bunch. The car was ready, had just been cleaned and everything was checked and clearly explained before I departed. Very impressed. They seem to have nice cars rather than the base model offerings of some other agencies. A lorry reversed into the car while on hire and did some cosmetic damage. All handled without hassle on return. Having the additional insurance cover was a relief. A very professional team.
