I never seem to get through over the phone and hear a 'this number is busy message'. I've had to wait 3 days sometimes just to get a hold of someone to book a GP appointment, and that's with me phoning every half an hour. The practice must be seriously understaffed or overworked.I find when I eventually manage to get through, those who answer the phone can be extremely rude and unhelpful. I always feel like a burden in this place.
Very poor. Almost impossible to make it through the call tree. I finally made it through the other day, to clarify the date of the next appointment for my 4 week old son after the health visitor had written the wrong date on the appointment slip. The receptionist was incredibly rude, and dismissive, speaking over me and telling me I'd have to phone back in a few weeks. When I explained that we'd likely then miss the appointment she then transferred me to a different number without asking, and of course that rang out. If you don't care about people or have any kind of listening skills, you shouldn't be answering the phone for a doctors surgery.
Good doctors but fewer staff. I usually don't get hold over the phone and need to go physically to make appointments. Staff seems over worked too.
Friendly staff but the place is definitely understaffed/overworked. It take a long time to get a good appointment (a few weeks, but this is pretty normal and not the practises fault). Trying to get through to the staff on the phone is very annoying though. The lines are usually busy and it takes many tries before I can get throughUpdate. I've been trying to get through the line for my blood results for the past few days and still no success. Getting very frustrated!
Great staff feel sorry for them overworked do their best for people who cant speak english .Doctors mchugh & campbell .very helpfull
