Glorious place to stay. Beautifully kept site with easy access to Loch Lomond and it's islands for walking and canoeing / boating. Milarrochy Bay and it's well photographed tree on the beach are a short walk just around the Loch from the site. Staff are all very friendly and helpful to give guidance for treks out.We stayed here and enjoyed every minute of it. Canoed to the islands from right by our caravan off the site. Brilliant. We'll definitely be back.
Perfect place to go if you want scenery without a massive trek to the Highlands. Very easy to forget how close to Glasgow you are. Very quiet. Very beautiful.
Lovely campsite with a great view of Loch Lomond. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Great idea to offer a few spots to choose from. No midges as the wind from the lake kept them away. Highly recommended
Staff were friendly and absolutely brilliant! Called in last minute for a site. Even though they were run off there feet. I was set up within 20min. Facilities were fine considering it was peak seasonThank you!
Campsite is close to a busy road where heavy vehicles/trucks start around 7.00 hrs AM. The pitches for tents with electricity seem nice but there is a rocky layer just beneath the grass. Restrooms do require an upgrade. Tiles are outraged and the unisex block could be cleaned more frequently. All in all, I would choose a different campsite next time.
