Shocked at how basic it was. Road noise at night and nil facilities. Cost as much as a proper campsite. Don't bother.
They are honest about there being no facilities, but you pay as much as a real campsite.
Two nights here, with wee granddaughter, description of site accurate, I was looking for no frills close to home, had a great time. Granddaughter loved the freedom and made new friends.we will be back.
Very good campsite. Lovely owners. Great wee cafe on site as well as activities such as paintballing, archery and axe throwing. Only downside is there are no showers. There is also a bird sanctuary on site next to the cafe.
Only down side- no showers.
