A nice site on the edge of a lovely village which caters for tourists nicely without being pushy. Good eating at the village inn (need to book). Level pitches and we were lucky with a light breeze which kept the mozzies away.
We travelled to Luss from the Moffat site, the weather was not brilliant however I managed to sail my kayak every day. The pitch was close to the loch so ideal, the book said no tv or satellite signal but we managed to get a picture. The wardens running the site were very helpful, pleasant and always had a cheery word. The local pubs are a little inexpensive. All in all we enjoyed our week and would definitely go back in a heartbeat
Beautiful place but staff were so rude and obnoxious we decided not to pay the membership fee they demanded. Also as we did not book 24hrs ahead on line (as we were travelling alot hence poor signals) we were also told there was a 500 fine if we waited in there car park even though the place was half empty. So obviously there belligerence inspired us to move to a much better and welcoming place just a few miles up the road.
Lovely site. Very noisy as it's right next to the main road but you're right on the shoreline of loch lomand too. Short walk into Luss which is amazing. Great staff.
Site with pitches on the banks of Loch Lomond. Good facilities. Holiday Site Managers made every effort to give us a suitable pitch at short notice. Will definitely come again before their lease expires.
