I got a custom meal done specially by the chef according to my gluten free, vegetarian diet. The main dish was a roasted cauliflower with kale and mushrooms. Very tasty. My friend got the steak and he was happy with it too. The place is very cute with lots of green leaves and a running water pond. I recommend to call in advance for a booking because it is quite packed all the time.
Enjoyed my visit here as part of The Wee Food Tour with Maddie. It has a beautiful interior very thought out. The food was excellent where I was served the best hummus I have ever tasted with local sourdough bread, whiskey infused Smoked Salmon with a dill pure and the. Two types of haggis with nips and tatties and smokies. Service was friendly and attentive and food was of excellent quality. I did think the venison haggis was too peppery but everything else was delicious.I was with my 8m old and they were very accommodating and had very clean facilities.
We were recommended this restaurant by a Glaswegian in Portsmouth. We had a fabulous meal Scallops, Haggis and fillet steak to die for. Wine was amazing also.Thank you for a great evening

I had my wedding reception in this beautiful restaurant and it was fab! We even got to choose from a menu....there were only 30 of us tho. A person could never have a bad meal at " the chip" it's gorgeous and takes its food extremely seriously. Best place to eat in Glasgow, if not Scotland!
