Disappointing, both the food and the service could have been better. Beef olives were pale and the gravy a bit thin, huge pile of mash and some very soft carrots, fish n chips seemed nice enough if unremarkable and desert was the highlight. Service was bland and patchy.
Been to The Black Sheep numerous times and counts as my favourite place for eating out. The food is always perfect , the desserts are amazing and the staff are always very pleasant. If you haven't been, give it a go . I think you'll love it.
Been here several times and each time I forget how good the food is. If you like good Scottish tastes and fresh flavourful food this is a must. The staff are always attentive and polite, I cannot give this restaurant enough praise for how good it is
Just back from here tonight. We were a party of 8. Food was amazing. 7 of the the party have never been before and will definitely be back. A roaring success. Service was great. Portion sizes are big. Plenty of choice. If you haven't been here it's certainly worth a visit. Check out their menu on line. Great value x
Excellent food. Good range on the menu. 2 course menu was good value. Large portions so had to take desert home. Staff very helpful. Will be back.
