I rented a property in Shawlands from Cairn for 4 years, any time I dealt with the agency I found them very helpful. We had an issue with a neighbour and Fiona helped us with this. We had great communication and the move out was a smooth and we felt a fair process. SuziReally good experience.
PLEASE AVOID.If you're a student looking for a flat, stay as far away as possible from this letting agency. Our two years at our property have been horrendous. From the first day, we walked in to the flat being left in an awful state, the bathroom tiles were literally black with mould, and furniture broken/left from old tenants not cleared. From there, they took 1 1/2 years to actually fix the bathroom since first reported. Yet they still had the nerve to raise the rent every year, regardless of the awful state of the flat.The tenancy was filled with constant threats about how not filling out a fire alarm sheet, or wedging doors open could "make it a little harder getting the deposit back". We were sent MANY contractors throughout the year to deal with repairs who did absolutely nothing, or the bare minimum (1 layer of paint doesn't fix layers of thick mould Cairn), and when it came to our final deposit, our flat was left in a much nicer state than the flat on entry, we were still deducted 300 (reduced to 110 after complaints) for literally dust, and furniture left by previous tenants. Someone's deposit isn't some bargaining chip you can make a quick hundred off of.To top it all of, when we complained about the flat and its conditions (some windows literally wouldn't close), the owner of the agency accidentally CCd us into an email chain of them making fun of our case and us personally.Maybe treat your customers right instead of passive agressive replies and bad service. They're what make your business after all. The most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with.

Any concerns have been dealt with swiftly. They have ensured that the property has been fully compliant with legislation so that the tenant is safe. I was very impressed that they kept me updated on tenants' checks and gave me frank and honest advice, when required. I am also extremely happy with the tenant. She has kept the property immaculate. I've been really happy with the great service I have received from Cairns.
