To all the staff that are looking after me currently on ward 62 and the team who operated on me today. I would like to say a big thankyou. It's never good to be poorly but to have a team of people who are so professional, caring, courteous and always willing to give extra to help it's nice to see, I don't recommend being poorly but would recommend this hospital in a heartbeat to get better. Large hospital - visiting times are open but parking (NCP) may be difficult depending on the time of day. Staff helpful and everything is sign posted. There are a number of places to eat within the hospital for staff and visitors and plenty seating. Ajoined with the Children's hospital next door.
Doctors are Fab, overall service is grest, however there regularly seems to be a lot of nursing/support staff walking about or standing chatting.....therefore the perception is they don't really care about our patients. My main area of feedback is directions/signposting. Please improve signs to parking, hospitals, wards and clinics. This would mean we wouldn't have to ask the staff at reception or those walking around or standing chatting as they all get quite annoyed when you ask for help/directions. Fab new hospital...improvements to be made in staff behaviour and signposting.
A nice and big hospital. Nice service. They quickly handled us after even though we had to study more than an hour for research. Pleasant atmosphere. Personally, I recommend it because I have a nice experience.
