Great wee place to see a variety of birds and get up and close. Thoroughly recommend a family day in here. Looking forward to the next one already
Visited today with my friend and was really impressed with the experience. Very knowledgeable handler who patiently answered all our questions. Will definitely be back. Coffee and hot chocolate excellent too!
A surprising large selection of birds on display including the only condor in Scotland. The crowned crane was a particular favourite with it's Mohican hairstyle, colourful plumage and playful antics. It managed to get out of its pen on our visit which added to the entertainment. The live shows were both entertaining and informative giving plenty of photo opportunities to capture birds in flight right over the crowd. The is a small play area for the kids but the decking can be quite slippy on the wet ramp. There is a cafe which caters for most needs with very friendly staff and first class food.
A brilliant little gem. We enjoyed every minute. The staff were passionate about the birds and ready to answer any questions. We took my elderly father-in-law, who uses walking aids to get about and he had no problems accessing the site. It was wonderful seeing the birds out and flying.
An amazing place, lots to see. Good choice of food in the cabin, the soup is gluten free. Very friendly and helpful staff. All wheelchair accessible and spacious disabled toilet. Hour long display usually with four birds flying during that time. Great value and would recommend to all.
