We went her with my kids last uear and the conditions the animals were held in where shocking. The animals looked unkept and their cages uncleaned in some cases feaces had not been cleaned out. The following year i happened to be in the park and it seemed worse. The animal pens were unclean and the animals looked unwell. The birds especially looked unkept and were not flying about or chirping as birds do. The whole place was covered in pigeon dropping. Half the animals were not there from last year. Its an awful place and a an example of poor animal care.
Great day there loved getting out after Christmas and New year.
It's not big but it's free and there are some interesting animals.
Well looked after educational place for younger children with colouring in. Closes at 3.30
Lovely helpful staff in visitor centre and a great wee place to introduce animals to babies and young children.
