Honestly despair of this place. Turned away at the door for being too drunk had a wee bit too much hen? Or the classic rendition of not tonight girls when Im standing stone cold sober actually never been so sober in my life. Id love to know why they do this? Is there some sort of pathetic code the rest of us dont get? Are they the illuminati? No, no they are not. Its bordering on prejudice. Sad really.Ps polo team dont even reply to this. You are not a diverse club.
Great night with a great crowd, visited on a Saturday. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good variety of music throughout the rooms.5 stars from a frequent visitor.
Polo is a great night out if the door staff feel like letting you in. Got KBd last night for being too drunk even though both myself and my friend had consumed two glasses of wine each tops. On waiting for our friends who had already entered to leave the club, security let in considerably more intoxicated people than us. Upon reading the reviews on here it makes me think that there is a greater criteria set by the bouncers relating to skin colour and gender for letting people into the club. Really disappointing behaviour to be honest and has really put me off returning to the club, even though it has been one of my favourites in Glasgow for the last few years.
Almost everyone single person in the queue was turned away for absolutely no reason what so ever! When asked why the same phrase was repeated not tonight girls the worst part was some of our friends were already in there and that was the and only club we were wanting to go too, not surprised to be honest wont be returning again.
Two friends knocked back from entry before 12 for no reason. Didn't drink beforehand so it wasn't because of drunk and disorderly action. I understand it can be busy on a Saturday but bouncers were ready to let myself and a few others in but not others. Very disappointed as I've had a great time at Polo on other nights during the week.
