Had some ridiculous quotes to replace existing radiators with new and from the beginning J & M Plumbing and heating were so easy to deal with. Called up and explained what the job was, went through a few things over the phone and got given a quote there and then which was the best quote I had received by far! Gavin turned up on time and got the job done professionally and within time scale. Would highly recommended J & M plumbing and heating!15/01/18 - Had a slight issue with a leak when the radiators were cooling down so phoned J & M and managed to get a same day call out between 5pm-7pm. I was told a diagnostics charge may apply if it wasn't a J & M issue which was going to be 59 plus VAT. Vinny and James arrived just before 7pm and had the job fixed within 5 minutes, it was down to J & M so there was no charge to myself. Once again a brilliant service provided! Would definitely recommend!
Not all heroes wear capes!We had a disaster with a burst pipe. Alanna was amazing she went above and beyond when I called and managed to get someone out to us the same day. When Gurvinder arrived he was great and managed to fix not only the burst pipe (and get water back on for us plus 3 of our neighbours that we had to turn the water off to due to the leak) but also was able to fix a gas leak we also discovered. He fixed everything in under 2 hours.Such understanding, friendly, professional and helpful people. I cannot praise, thank and recommend them enough. Absolutely 5 star! Excellent service.
I"m a landlord and called out J & M heating as one of my boilers wasn't working. Minutes before they arrived I discovered the gas meter was malfunctioning. The engineer arrived and rightly said he couldn't do anything if the meter didn't work, I should call British Gas and get them out to repair it and left within a couple of minutes. So they did nothing for me. They did bill me 70 in advance for this. I requested a refund and got told I would get nothing. I understand the engineer had to drive to my property so a partial refund would have been fair but they offered nothing and they did nothing. I was a potential new customer with many other contacts in property.
Cowboys - Avoid like the plague. Charged and invoiced a call out fee despite no agreement and their website clearly stating no call out charges . Agressive and bullying tactics to try and intimidate into paying them cash at door.Do not put yourself through the ordeal of having the misfortune of dealing with this mob.
Installed Combi boiler and Radiators they done a great job. Very clean and tidy and explained how to use the thermostat. Would highly recommended *****
