Well-curated museum to dive deeper into how Glaswegians lived before modern day times. I found myself reading every caption and looking at every image there was. A great reminder of why Glasgow is the way it is. The greenhouse and the Cafe are a beautiful, serene plus!

Interesting little place if you have a bit of time to spare. A bit out of the way but a nice walk from the centre if you have a mind to. Lots of interesting facts and stories of the people of Glasgow over the years.

We loved this museum... So so interesting about Glasgow life!! And very beautiful. And the winter gardens r great too. We have taken visitors here and it's really a good spot. The cafe is nice too. Serves good sandwiches but the fish and chips smelt amazing when we were there on the weekend. Well worth a visit. Also has the biggest terracotta fountain in the world outside....

A wonderful place to visit. There are so many gems of historical interest brought to life though the use of multi-media. The Winter Gardens have an incredible range of plant species and the cafe within the Winter Gardens serves tasty food at very reasonable prices. There is a bench and small bust of The Sensational Alex Harvey. Outside is the magnificent Terracotta Fountain. This venue must be kept open.

Lovely architecture. Free entry. Nice place to bring family. Big grounds on the outside for picnic when the weather is nice and a lovely playground nearby. Lots of free street parking along the Museum. Theres a nice cafe in the winter garden. The display is great to introduce the little ones with some of the things we grew up with from the early 1960s-1990s.
