Excellent museum and farm. Really interesting and lots of information. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend it for a great family day out.
I used to visit this facility when my grandchildren were a bit younger. The visit I had on Sunday (23rd Dec.18)was to meet my son to exchange presents. The museaum was spotless as was the cafe. (There bacon rolls are excellent). The gift shop caters for all ages they have a good selection of the books that refer to local towns in the past which I find particularly interesting (it's a shame that I remember a lot of the items the books refer too.All in all an excellent place & I strongly recommend it to all ages.By the way I forgot to mention trips to visit the farm & the farm house as it was in the 1950s.They have a selection of farm animals & sometimes there are new born calves, piglets & lambs &children are especially catered for.
Lovely place nice atmosphere and very plessent staff. A visit to the farm really recommended. Food fine for a snack and a coffee.
Excellent day out for all ages. Lots to do and see. Children loved everything. Staff so friendly. Nice cafe. Farm and farmhouse a great experience
Had an excellent day here with my 3 year old grandson. We went on the tractor to the farm. Saw various animals and had a tour round the farm house. Very interesting information available about the farm house. Definitely worth a visit, will take wellies on the next visit.
