Allan Menzies done our mums funeral we were and still are greaving and Allan took that bit of pressure off us by doing absolutely everything he went beyond what other funeral directors do I'd recommend him 1000% we were that upset and stressed and he just made it easier so Allan thankyou so much from the Skinner family I'm sure we made our mum proudXx
Both my uncles passed away a week apart and Allan dealt with both funerals Allan gave excellent service from start to finish. He went above and beyond to make sure the family had less stress as possible. I have recommended his services to friends and will definitely be using this company again. Allan is compassionate caring sympathetic and most of all professional in his work.
Allan showed the greatest care and attention to detail when he helped us lay out Wee Mum to rest. To say he goes above and beyond his duties as a Funeral Director is an understatement. Allan helped us in every way to ensure we gave my Mum the best send off possible. Nothing was a problem and he was always at the end of a phone 24/7 or would meet with us at anytime to help us with our loss. We couldn't have asked for anyone better to help us through a very sad and difficult time, he's such a lovely, kind person and shows he really cares.It may not be my place to say but when I saw the negative review about Allan's services left by a Melissa Bradley, I felt I had to comment, as not only is it complete nonsense and disrespectful to Allan and his family but it's also disrespectful to my family and my Wee Mum, plus all the other families Allan has helped. I actually take offence at her comments, as she is definitely not talking about the person who was there for my family and I have not left a fabricated review to make Allan's business look better either, he is genuinely very good at what he does and I would recommend him to anyone.Melissa is either getting herself mixed up with someone else or just a malicious troll.In reply to your comment Melissa Bradley and your insinuation that my review was made up and a coincidence it appeared after your review: if you happened to read my points properly you would see I admitted to commenting after I read your malicious words regarding Allan's service.I find it highly insulting that you would make an allegation stating my Mums passing was a mere story and that all the other families who have expressed their appreciation to Allan are making up a death in their family too.Your new post just merely serves the purpose of showing what a disrespectful person you are because if you had truthfully suffered the pain of losing a loved one, you would understand that when someone goes out of their way to make the process so much more easier to deal with for you and your family, then of course you would want to defend them.Maybe, rather than writing horrible untruthful words about a kind, caring person and disrespecting all of us families who have genuinely lost a loved one, you should crawl back under the stone you came out of.
At a time when attention to detail, and a truly personal approach is called for, I have experienced first hand the lengths at which Allan goes to to ensure that everything went smoothly.Allan helped with my wife's grans funeral, and took all of the stress out of the experience. The level of comfort my wife took from this is immeasurable, so much so that we are going to use Allan in our own plans for when the day comes.I would not hesitate to recommend Allan to anyone needing help in their time of need, a truly caring man.
