Have bought two mackerels today for a lunch, but one of them has gone bad. The meat was mushy and unexpectedly soft in texture. This has spoiled our plans for lunch and left unpleasant feeling after shopping in Asda.

Toilets were the worst . Layer of dust on the sinks. ( dust like that usually takes days to accumulate ) Floor soaking wet with urine which had turned to ammonia due to the length of time it takes to oxidize and become uric acid ( usually at least 12 hours ) . Toilet paper strewn on the soaking floor in the cubicals .muddy foot prints..God pray that was Mud and not number 2 toilet matter....Toilets filled with defecation and not flushed. Cardboard box in one of the urinals. Smell was so strong I was choking. Regret not taking a photo as I'm writing this after returning home. Really Surprised that a Manager can let this slip and create the worst possible experience when in need of relief while shopping. Iv never seen a toilet that ruined my day like this one. I'm assuming the cleaner was on strike.

Bought 2 print cartridges and some paper - needed in a rush, or I'd have bought online - and paid 68 at the self-torture till. As I turned away, I said to the assistant, "Sorry, should these tags be removed from the cartridges?" His response, without eye contact, was a curt "Can I see your receipt please?" "Sure", I said. He removed the tags and handed me the cartridges without eye contact or the slightest verbal acknowledgement.Considering that I'd prevented the theft alarm from going off and spent nearly 70, I think the least I could ask for is a reasonable attempt at courtesy. Alas no. People will tell you that Glaswegians are friendly and welcoming; obviously Asda Govan is staffed by people with emotional issues. If I go there again it'll be too soon. I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than be subjected to the contempt of the chronically depressed. Think I can guess his football team.

Really disappointed in the way I was spoken to by two members of staff this morning. Lady at the checkout was hanging around me suspiciously and I felt very uncomfortable. She spoke to security about me, and he actually tried to stop me from taking my shopping to my car using a trolley. There are literally trolley parks in the car park? He had quite a rude attitude and was quite snarky towards me.Quite upset by my experience this morning. Will not be coming to this store again. Would much rather drive a bit further for good customer service.

Good transport link with M8 running closeby.Large food/clothing store with plenty of car parking space , cafe, toilets and petrol station and pump LPG.As good if not better than motorway services and excellent stop off to break journey.
