Glasgow, Scotland G1 2LL

Cheap especially if you have a smartcard, also if you have a scotrail smartcard that will work here. With a samrtcard it cost 2.90 for unlimited day travel.Very noisy.

Clean, efficient station serving busy commercial area and pedestrian street in center of Glasgow.

Buchanan street station is one of the closest subway stations to most of the amenities in Glasgow city centre. The station can be accessed from Buchannan street and it has an escalator belt from Glasgow queen street train station. The station is clean and so is the trains. There are ticket buying facilities but unfortunately there are no toilets.

If your ticket somehow malfunctions and doesn't let you out the barriers, you will have to climb over the barriers to exit. There are no staff to let you out. Would not recommend to anyone who does not think they can climb over a ticket barrier.

Frequent, cheap, easy to navigate, clean coaches, spacious station.
