Parking is like driving into a giant maze blindfolded then getting out is like a mid-evil game of Jousting but with more rage. Handy as its just off the motorway lots of shops, no roof so if its raining well you're getting wet.
Great place to shop. Got everything in one place. Great choice of food from chip shop to restaurants. Only was that it's always cold!
I love the Fort. Plenty of parking, lots of shops and a good variety of places to eat. They have security patrols and cleaning staff maintaining the footpaths and there are plenty of bins and seating. Transport links are excellent by bus or car. Wear comfy shoes though, you'll do plenty of walking.
Some might say outdoor shopping in Glasgow??? Nope the stores at Glasgow Fort have changed slightly over the years but at least within the east side of Glasgow the trip is merited and saves a commute into the City Centre.The stores are all the usual haunts we love and there is a few surprises or bargains depending on when you visit. Parking a plenty only downside is Glasgow Fort is hugely popular as its location is prime to the motorway, M8 and the surrounding area. Friendly atmosphere and something for everyone, next time Im home Ill be seeing you.....
Good shopping centre with wide variety of retailers. It's a mall with a difference in that it's set out like a main street and you are outside rather than indoors. Great for the Summer months, but a bit cooler in Winter. Good amount of parking space, although could always use more. Reasonable choice of food restaurants. Great in run up to Christmas due to extended opening hours.
