Wow! What a wonderful place this is. I used it today and only problem was finding the library as my Sat Nav seriously needs updated and my A to Z is in tatters. Nevertheless got there and was highly impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the fact that nothing was too much bother. A lovely young lady arranged for me to get access to a mediatheque booth and set it up for me, looked up my requested programme and provided me with headphones that she apologised for as the cable was ridiculously long and that the sound was not wonderful but the library were on the case. Turned out the sound was fine even to a partially deaf person like me. Many thanks to everybody at this library it was a real pleasure to come 30 odd miles to experience the Mediatheque and the helpfulness and politeness of staff. It is clear that you care about the library users and I most certainly will be back. Well done!!!

I love reading so this is my favourite place, made all the better by such welcoming lovely staff, always very willing to help. Enjoyed many cups of tea in the cafe also.
Lovely library, very modern, good cafe and WiFi available
Visited today to have lunch in the cafe with my mum for her 85th birthday as she wanted to visit the local area where she had been born. Staff at the library were absolutely brilliant and treated her better than royalty, including giving her a book that had been written as part of a local history project. They also printed out an enlarged map which helped us to find Bonnar St (where mum was born). Although it is no longer a street we also managed then to find my mum's old primary school. We are going to arrange to go there for a wee guided tour in a few weeks time. Thanks so much to everyone for your help and for making her day so special. June (not Paul) Bone :o)
