Always busy. No point in booking classes as people just turn up and join the class meaning people that actually booked the classes can't participate. New lockers haven't been given much thought either as once you use your padlock there is no give on the locks so you can't actually see your combination for unlocking your padlock.
Most impersonal, friction filled process EVER. I was traveling and simply needed a day pass. Mind you, as a short term traveler I havent bothered with getting a cellular connection on my phone-I only use it with wifi. In which case this is what you ll experience: . There is no person to talk to. . You cant enter the gym without punching a code which you can only get by navigating a computer nearby. Make sure you know the UK zip code you re staying at, or it doesnt let you proceed. . After you complete the process and they take your money you re still left wondering how you re supposed to get the code to get in. Turns out they send it over email, which I didnt see mentioned (sorry), and I wouldnt be able to receive anyway because of my not having a cellular connection. . They do have a buzzer though that you can press for assistance (like a real person) which I pressed 4 times over 20 mins and no one showed up. At which point, I left. I dont even want to ask for my money back out of fear of what else they ll put me through, but I can hopefully save other people out there the trouble. Hey PURE GYM, here s a radical idea: get a front desk with a smiling, welcoming, helpful human and when someone s trying to give you money, MAKE IT EASY.
Good thing it's 24 hours.
I really enjoy the classes here. It's normally not too busy either which is good because you're not waiting for people to finish up with equipment
Joined the Gym with my son, I have always been weary of joining as I'm not a fit person and usually see all these professionals body beautiful, but the Pure Gym has an easy going vibe and you feel relaxed and the trainers have been great with my son. Defiantly well worth the money.. And would recommend to everyone. Also having the pay as you go is good if a friend wants to try as it's only a few pounds. Really glad I joined x
